Outreach Team - Making Friends, Helping People, Building Christian Faith for All Ages

As the mission statement of FCC says above, we are a church that reaches out…to our neighbors, to our community, to our world! We want to say “Thank You” to all of FCC for helping our church’s outreach ministry this year!

No matter what we plan, we encourage every member of FCC to embrace their calling to be a church who reaches out to our neighbors with the love and care of Christ our Lord. We look forward to the many opportunities our God is placing before us as we look to the New Year together!


Mission Team

..whoever wishes to be great among you must be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among you must be your slave; just as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many. Matthew 20:26-28

Our Mission Team consists of Doug Rowe, Peggy McDaniels, Marie Schaefer, and Susan Boucher. Our team seeks to encourage and lead FCC in its ministry of mission at the local, national, and international levels. Locally, our team has led the way for our children to be involved in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)’s Nickels for Nets ministry, which calls for our children to bring nickels to donate toward the purchase of mosquito nets for families in Africa. This is a nationwide ministry which helps to prevent diseases carried by flies in places where children are especially vulnerable. At the international level, our team continues to build a relationship with missionaries Woody and Barbara Busse, who are ministering in the “Stan” countries of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. We hope to be able to bring together the prayers and resources of FCC and the missionary endeavors of the Busse’s and others, with the aim of having missionaries personally visit FCC in the near future.

Every member is called by God to be involved in mission ministry. We encourage you to participate in our church’s mission endeavors throughout this new year!!!
